The Slovenian Agency for Communication Networks and Services (Akos) has
granted five new licenses to radio broadcasters Radio Net FM, Radio
Veseljak, Radio Maxi, Radio Univox and Radio Student for distribution
using digital radio technology throughout Slovenia. The radio stations
must start broadcasting within three months of the awards becoming
final. During this time, they must also agree with digital network
operator RTV Slovenija the details regarding transmission in digital
technology. With the latest additions, a total of 18 radio stations have
licenses to broadcast in DAB+.
