This year’s Radio Asia conference was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where the DRM Consortium was represented by Mr Alexander Zink (Fraunhofer IIS) and Mr Yogendra Pal (Hon. Chair DRM India Platform). The conference theme was “Radio All Around Us: More than just a medium”, and DRM technology was presented in a workshop with the title “Smart radio for all”. This was an opportunity to showcase the benefits of DRM digital radio, including cost savings, emergency warning functionality. It proved to be very popular with the delegates.
