Texas Radio Shortwave will broadcast a pre-Christmas special program on WRMI on the following schedule: 0300-0400 UTC December 20, 2020 on 5800 kHz (that's the night of December 19th in the Americas).
And their Christmas music special will air at 0300-0400 UTC December 26 on 5800 kHz (that's the evening of December 25 in the Americas). The December 25/26 program will feature music by Texas artists including Beto y Los Fairlanes, Eric Johnson and Van Wilks, and Marcia Ball.
Texas Radio Shortwave wills end limited-edition electronic verifications for both of these programs to listeners submitting correct, detailed reception reports for the broadcasts. The email address is: texasradiosw@gmail.com.
Reception reports should include times, song titles, the text of announcements, a SINPO/SIO signal rating, information on the listener's receiver and antenna, and comments on the program content. Listeners should mention is they use a remote software-defined radio (SDR) and the receiver's location. Audio clips are welcomed.
